Thanks for getting this far!  We try to write our contracts in standard english to avoid confusion.  This preamble introduces the terms we use and illustrates the legal relationship Databased Finance has with our community of sellers. It doesn't replace the final contract signed, but is a shorter form introduction.

1. What data do we collect?

1.1 Our Company collects the following data:

1.2 Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.)

1.3 Your company’s online sales data and history if you grant us or our agents permission to access your accounts.

You directly provide Our Company with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

2.1 Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.

2.2 Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.

2.3 Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

3. How will we use your data?

Our Company collects your data so that we can:

3.2 Issue promissory notes based on future Sales Fee income

If you agree, Our Company will share your data with our partner companies so that they may offer you their products and services.

When Our Company engages in a contractual agreement with you, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent activity.

4. How do we store your data?

Our Company securely stores your data on our cloud services which carry two factor authentication access control, encryption at rest, and encrypted system to system communications. Some of your data will be stored on chain on the ethereum blockchain and the Centrifuge Chain - you will be informed if this is the case and can decline the purchase of your inventory if this is not acceptable to you or your company.

If you do not complete a transaction uur Company will keep your personal data while you are an active user. If you complete a transaction then we will keep the minimum details required for the time required to comply with Hong Kong reporting requirements - currently 8 years. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by securely erasing it from our data storage and back up .

5. Marketing

Our Company would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies.

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop Our Company from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your data to other members of the Our Company Group.

6.3 The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Our Company erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

6.4 The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Our Company restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

6.5 The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Our Company’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

6.6 The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Our Company transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
